Groups
When we say group, we talk about any musical act on board consisting of two or more people. We always encourage groups who have an extensive repertoire and stylistic versatility, however, we also love having a group specialized in a particular genre of music, such as Latin, Jazz, ballroom music and many more. Lounge groups perform in various venues around the ship to provide excellent musical entertainment for the guests.
Latin Ensembles
We love having duos, trios, and quartets groups who were specialized in playing in salsa, merengue, cumbia, bachata. We encourage each member to play an instrument (usually keys, bass, or percussion, although other instruments are welcome), and just as importantly, everyone sings. Jazz Ensembles
We look for duos formed by pianists and vocalists who play standard jazz themes as well as jazzy versions of pop songs. Trios (piano, bass, and drums) must have a lead vocalist, and quartets, based on the piano trio, must have a vocalist in front. If you think this is your gig, contact us.
PARTY BANDS
Your band needs to consist of 4 or 5 members, with one lead singer and at least one backup singer. Your music list needs to include all the greatest hits from pop, rock, country, disco, and Motown music as you perform in different venues. Classical Ensembles
We are looking for string duos, trios, and quartets that can switch from classical music to Beatles or famous soundtracks and back again to Vivaldi's four seasons. You need to have a great repertoire that will lighten up different venues. If you have that spirit and are up for it, contact us.
Caribbean Soloists and Groups
We are looking for Steelpan players that, supported with backing tracks, can bring the Caribbean spirit aboard a cruise. You can combine pop, Latin, and reggae music into your repertoire. Vocals are welcome. If you think this is the gig for you, contact us.
